The Disney Tag

Hello everyone!
Welcome back to my blog!

I found this amazing tag on Sian Lifts Weights blog and as an GIANT fan of Disney, I knew I had to do it! I’ve been a disney fan ever since I can remember and grew up watching at least 3 Disney movies every single day and fortunate enough to spend holidays going to Disney World in Florida when I was 10. It was the last full holiday I had with my mum before she passed so Disney means a lot to me. I’m even listening to Spotify’s #ThrowbackThursday playlist which is all classic Disney! I recommend checking it out! I hope you enjoy this post and why not give it a go yourselves?

1. Favourite Disney character

Aurora from Sleeping Beauty is my favourite Disney character. She’s beautiful and has a wonderful singing voice I always envied! It was probably my most watched Disney movie when I was a kid.

2. Favourite Disney movie

I adore old Disney movies like the ones I grew up on, but there can’t ever really be a favourite. So my 5 favourite would be; Lion King, Tangled, Finding Nemo, Sleeping Beauty and Mulan!

3. Favourite Disney scene

Actually a new one, I recently watched Finding Dory and the scene where she reunited with her parents is truly beautiful. I was sobbing in the cinema, not that I cared what people thought.

4. Favourite Disney memory

Sitting between my parents on the roof of our hotel in Disney California, wrapped up in blankets watching the Disney castle fireworks

5. Favourite Disney song

Currently has to be “How Far I’ll Go” in Moana. All time favourite has to be “I See The Light” from Tangled because I think it’s a beautiful song!

6. What is your go to Disney movie?

Finding Nemo is my go to Disney movie. It always cheers me up and I never tire of it and I always get pretty emotional too when they are reunited!

7. First trip to a Disney Park?

My parents took me to Disneyland in California when I turned 6. It was a complete surprise and from what I remember, I was super chuffed with all of it!

8. Favourite Disney Park & Ride?

I absolutely adored the iconic Run Away Train, to the point where I rode it over 10 times in one go before my parents dragged me away!

9. Most emotional Disney moment?

As I mentioned above, when I was 5 years old, my family decided to take a holiday to Las Vegas, and travel around Nevada and California. I actually turned 6 years old when we were in Vegas and my parents decided to surprise me by taking me to Disney World California! It was insane and I actually remember the only Disney princess that I didn’t get to meet was Cinderella. I was heartbroken to say the least. Fast forward to when I was 11 year’s old, my mum decided to take me to Disney World in Florida. On the last day, my mum suddenly got excited and started screaming for me to look next to the castle, and there she was! Cinderella! My mum actually told me she’s never seen me move so fast as I sprinted towards her. When I finally got to her I started to ball my eyes out, much to Cinderella’s confusion. She simply bent down and gave me a hug. Never been so happy, in my life!

10. If you could pick any Disney character to be your Best Friend, who would it be?

I’d have to say Genie! He would make the bestest of best friends! He’d always make me laugh and we could go on some epic adventures!

And there you have it! My Disney tag! Thank you for reading about my ramblings and let me know if you try this tag yourself! Hope you enjoyed!
Until next time!

11 Keys To Self Love

Self love. We hear the words thrown round all the time, but what does it really mean to love oneself?

We’re all a little guilty when it comes to self-love, and I don’t just mean working out or watching what you eat (after all, we all like a slice of pizza or heart shaped waffle every now and then, right?) It turns out there’s a lot more to self-love than just pampering ourselves or doing what makes us happy.

As RuPaul (QUEEN) says, “If you don’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?”. As an avid fan of Drag Race, the quote started to make me think. Do I love myself? What exactly is self-love? How can I achieve it? If you’re wondering the same, here’s a list to help you understand a little more.
